Anything related to anime/manga in the mahou shoujo genre. Fanart and fanfiction, icons and graphics, recommendations and meta, video and links -- it's all good.

Where did the title come from?
Frills of Justice is TVTropes lingo for the tendency of mahou shoujo uniforms to be decked out in frills, bows, jewels, hair floofs, and other elements that don't seem terribly practical for fighting in...but sure do look cool.

I read/posted something in this comm and now it's gone! What happened?
This is the second incarnation of frillsofjustice. The original was deleted and purged by its moderator, for reasons unknown, and all content was lost. A new comm was established with the same username, on the grounds that it was too good to waste.

What tags should I put on my posts?

• The type of post, e.g. "discussion", "fanmix", "fanart", "recs"
• The title(s) of the magical-girl series you're discussing
• If you're sharing a fanwork: the author/artist, in the format "a: username"
• If it's about a ship: the pairing, in the format "pairing: character 1/character 2"

All members can create new tags, even if you're the first person to post about a show! Mods have the power to edit tags on any member's posts, so anything that's not in the right format will be fixed -- just try your best.

I have another question/want help/need something clarified.

Hello! I have some questions about tagging.

1) If I wanted to post fanart of a ship, would I tag it: / fanart, fandom name, ship name / or just: / fanart, fandom name / and put the ship in the post?

2) If a series doesn't have a tag yet, can I add that tag?

I want to be sure I understand before I post here :'D Thank you for your time!

1) Pairing tags are cool! Make them in the format "pairing: character 1/character 2".
